PMHNP Amanda has nearly 20 years of experience in the psychiatric nursing arena. Through hard work and dedication, she climbed her career ladder quickly: VA Beach Psych Ctr 2008-2009 [unit RN and night shift supervisor]; Naval Med Ctr Portsmouth 2009-2013 [Clinical RN manager, substance use program]; Buffalo Psych Ctr 2014-2021 [unit RN, CMHN]; Danville CBOC 2022-2024 (PMHNP, Veteran population]. She is well trained in many psychotherapeutic modalities and trauma, and applies evidenced based practice!
